Silyl derivatisation, followed by FID or Ion selective MS, depending on the sample matrix and sample concentration.
If it's a biological matrix, like serum, there will be considerable sample prep to be done.

Hi all,
I am trying to set up a method using ez faast Protein Hydrolysate kit. Sample preparation variations are much higher than I expected.
When I test Pickering aa reference standarts (each AA 250nmol/ml) after fresh calibration I found that results are varying, ie, some are around 200, some 125.
I don't have much time for troubleshooting until next year

.
Any similar experience?
Happy new year to all.
