Communication issue between empower 1154 and 2475 fluo det

Hi Oliver,

I have some troubles to make the communication between Empower1154 and a 2475Fluo detector. I see in the 2475 Manual (available on internet - page 2-19 / 2-20) the acquisition is possible via a RS232 cable. I emulate the detector in 474mode. When I create an instrument method with my 2695 + 2487 + add instrument ->W474, I can’t save it and use it for DATA acquisition. Do you know some tips for resolve this issue.

I know the best will be to use empower2 and make Ethernet communication, but I don’t have software/licence for this version of software.

I wish you can help me to solve the issue…

Can you download the 2475 ICS and use ethernet with build 1154?

I am searching for "instrument control software" (ICS) for Waters 2475 detector but i don't find where I can download them...
Can you help me?

Register on the Waters website (this is free) and contact them as to which 2475 ICS will work for your setup. You should be able to download it as part of a driver pack. There may also be a working version of the CD or DVD that shipped with the detector. Do you have that?
