Fast GC

I have been looking at some of our existing GC sperations with a view to moving them over to fast GC. So far we have had a lot of success. We are using our "standard" equipment, 6890s and have moved to 0.1mm id columns. The best seperation so far is seperating 9 different fungicides in 60 seconds. This compares to a run time of 45mins on our normal method.
We have found a few limitations in the equipment with using high split flows. For instance the liner choice is critical to prevent a back pressure wave which causes peak spliting. Loading is also a problem but with some simple sample prep changes we have sorted this.
Is anybody else looking at fast GC and if so have they found any issues?
