Dear friends,

We want to analysis bisphenol A using GC/MS.
Could anyone suggest a suitable method?

Thanks a lot.

I am assuming you want to measure trace levels. Derivitization with BSTFA is needed.

Column: small bore DB-5MS or equivalent phase
(Agilent pn# 122-5532).

There is a good paper on this topic located at:

http://ehp.niehs.nih.gov/members/2002/1 ... -full.html

I am suggesting a longer more general purpose column since the column in the article was tailored to their specific matrix.

Good luck
