I am just a starter user of HP 1090. Does anyone know if it is possible to attach a fraction collector to that model? I would also need an additional valve which can switch between waste and fraction collection. Can I also somehow syncronize this, can I change the CHEMSTATION?Any ideas or experience?
I have used and old HP 1050 for this purpose. There are relays on the back of the instrument which Chemstation can switch on and off to control an external switchvalve.

You need to have a stable system, since time is the only parameter you can use for the collection!
