Hi,
as i can read this is a common problem for new in at empower software.
So the question is
how can i simply calculate the percentual recovery of a control standard against the calibrator standard ?
I try to o it in this way:
(1) calibrator standard:
5 injection from the same vail
function: inject as stadard
in the "edit component window" i insert in the "value" the weight in mg , and in "purity" the percentual purity .
the diluition is in the "run window" not in the "edit component window" (the diluition is the same for calibrator and control std)
(2) control standard:
1 injection
function: inject as control
in the "edit component window" i insert in the "value" the weight in mg , and in "purity" the percentual purity.
the diluition is in the "run window" not in the "edit component window" (the diluition is the same for calibrator and control std).
So in your opinion it is correct?
it makes calculation keeping in consideration the purity value?
where i can find the percentual recovery?
Please if anyone have any suggest to do it..share it !
Thank you very much
You could create a custom field. E.g., "BIAS" with the formula ((ABS(Value-Amount ))/Value)*100.

This is how I do it:

Create a sample set with weight "1" and dilution "1" for control samples. Via edit > Amounts... fill in the weighed amount of control sample.

In the report create a table with the columns <Value>, <Amount> and <BIAS>.

<value> is the amount of weighed control sample
<amount> is the measured amount
<Bias> the Bias between the two is calculated in the custom field.
Semplicissimo.

Se ci riesco ti allego direttamente i custom fields
