Peak Purity and S/N in FLD detector

Does anyone know how to check peak purity and s/n ratio in FLD detector?

I am using Agilent HPLC with OpenLab Chemstation software
For peak purity, you would have to compare excitation and/or emission spectra at various times across the peak. I'm not aware of standard software that does that.

S/N can always be done the old-fashioned way: print out the chromatogram and meazure the signal and the noise.

For FLD spectra, If I remember correctly, could be wrong, you have to capture the sample in FLD cell and stop flow, then you press left mouse on detector and chose something like take sample spectrum. You have to have installed 3D spectra acquisition license.

For calculating S/N, you go under Data Analysis, report, system suitability, edit noise time and chose the time frame of your noise. Specify the report as Performance + Noise
