Nebuliser gas flow remains OFF

Hi guys,

I'm having a problem with the nebuliser gas flow in a Waters Quattro LC mass spectrometer.

Before, when I turned on the gas, both nebuliser and desolvation gases went up togheter, but now the nebuliser gas remains off. The gas pressure is ok and the desolvation gas flow is right. I opened fully the nebuliser flow control valve, but nothing changes.
Does anyone have an idea about what might be happening?

I appreciate any help!

Karina
Hi,

Problem solved!
The technitian explained that the "nebuliser" indication in the screen in fact means "cone gas" in the Quatto LC. Not very intuitive. :?

Then, I adjusted the cone gas valve and the nebuliser gas turned up in the screen.
Very simple, but it took me many hours...
Maybe this post can help someone newbie like me in the future. :)
thanks for posting the solution. You're right - it is really helpful for people searching in the future
