Update is up and running and looks great (even though I really liked the old-fashioned look of the previous version...)
But I'm missing my favorite button: "View new posts"
Was this removed or am I just too blind to see it?

This software is more of the unfortunate trend of valuing form over function. It makes it much slower to just scan the list as new thread and quickly read replies because on has to scroll a lot. They layout is pretty but much less information dense... There is a LOT of wasted space.

Information density is only a problem when it makes things hard to read... The old forum was easy to read.

This is a technical/scientific forum not a social media site.

Anyway that is my opinion.

I'm just glad that most of the old settings were "grandfathered" in.
It appears that many smilies were unable to make the trip, however (or is that just my bad connection)?

So far, it has passed the 2 minute test, so that's good.
