OSHA labling rule

2012 new rule that considers labs that ship out sample preservatives as a chemical distributor. The part we are banging our heads over is each vial must be labeled with the following:

product identifier
a signal word
a hazard statement
appropriate hazard pictogram
appropriate precautionary statements
name, address, and telephone # of the lab and responsible party.

All on a 1ml ampoule!!!!!

We're thinking of putting this info on a 3X5 card and including it with the preservative ampoules.

Anyone else dealing with this rule? How?

Thanks
Bear

We have chemical tracking software program, bar codes on each chemical. Small vials and bottles of chemicals are placed in a larger plastic specimen container, and the label affixed to that. That's what we do.
