Hi there. I've recently acquired an HP 1090 Series II HPLC (w/ autosampler, DAD) that has been in storage for the last 10+ years and am looking at getting it back up and running. I've got all the manuals as well. Although the unit was originally operated remotely through the PC/Chemstation I've opted to want to simply run it from the LUSI interface/local mode. After finally finding out how to get the unit to recognize local mode by setting the appropriate switches on one of the internal boards and getting the air pressure hooked up I simply want to start pumping water through the system to make sure everything thing is good to go. The problem is that I can't seem to find how to simply pump and the system is basically prompted me to do an analysis.

So in short, does anyone out there have a 1090 still in operation in which they might be able to make a video of to get an idea of what to expect from powering up to running an analysis?

Any assistance would be very much appreciated! Thank you.
