Using an Agilent 7890A:
I have been evaluating a single taper Gooseneck 4mm liner for split injections (typically 100:1) compared with a
straight 4mm split/splitless liner (both packed with wool).
The peak shapes with the single taper Gooseneck appear much better than those with the straight liner.
Does anyone else routinely use the single taper Gooseneck for split injections?
Perhaps I'm eliminating sample contact with the bottom of the injector ?
