My Thermo Finnigan LCQ DECA has a malfunctioning ion transfer capillary heater. I tested the power coming into the heater, that seems to be fine. I've replaced the system control board, the main computer board and the heater itself. None of these have resolved the issue. Based on the diagnostic tests, there doesn't seem to be anything else wrong with my instrument. Has anyone had the same experience? Any ideas what else I might try?
