It tends to work with with Waters Empower and Breeze software. The temperature appears for few moments and then start beeping with continues beep and paused beep sometimes.

Any clue to remove this issue.

There is not a hardware error appearance in Waters Config System as it shows YES and no error message records in faults messages.

We checked out all necessary micro fuses already. all active.

Thanks

We are associated in services complete system of Waters LC MS MS QTof II MALDI used for peptides applications is USA.
its being donated to one of our institute in Pakistan. The system is configured with Waters 2695 , 996 and QTof MassPec along with turbo Edwards molecular pump, chiller,Peak Scienctific Nitrogen generator with MassLynx Links data station and CD`s Key Disks.

In beginning we checked out all accessories like we mentioned but there are not much literature and guides available with this. We searched out lot of sites and weblinks including Waters but specific start up kit Nano Spray with guide installation isnt found . Not even we are sure that MassLynx will operate Waters Alliance and 996 PDA Detector. As i believe it works with Waters Empower software.

Is somebody there who can little guide us to some basics . we can send all relevant pics of these module upon request.

We need some kickstart . Empower Software yes we understand but MassLynx is new for us.

e really look forward to hear from some one who have some material to suuport.

Best regards

Your instrument method should feature inputs for desired temperature and how many degrees from that temperature are acceptable. If you setup that method and start to monitor prior to the column oven temperature being within the programmed window, it will beep. Once it reaches temperature (and, maybe you push OK on the LC control panel), it should stop...
