LabSolutions/Shimadzu LCMS Software Issue...

Hi forum,

I'm having an issue with the Lab Solutions software in that even though I am not overloading the detector, when I look at the chromatogram, I am seeing my peak go flat (at the top of the peak) for about 20 seconds. I get the feeling I'm wrestling with a display setting I don't know how to change, especially since I've run the exact same sample with another method (same running parameters) back-to-back and don't have this problem.

Any help?

Just to check the obvious... are you viewing the chromatogram at an appropriate zoom level? Right click on the chromatogram and select "Initialize Zoom". Alternatively you can right click and select "Display Setting". Then tick the "Full chromatogram" checkbox and enter 100% for the area setting. That shows you the entire chromatogram regardless of how many peak groups or data acquisition periods there were in the run.

What is your detector? LCMS? or PDA?
Check your offline data and see if error persists there or not?
