I am having issues with an Archon 5100A. The arm recently shifted as it goes to pick up a vial. It shifted left for some reason that when it goes to pick up the vial it hits the top and an error pops up saying the position is out of range. I tried bringing the screw rod up and I also tried to re calibrate the arm moving it towards the right. Yet when the arm went to pick up a vial the same problem occurred. It would go to pick up the vial and the gripper would hit the top of the vial and error out. Has anyone encountered this issue? Do I have a bad power supply or board?
If you have the sensor bar and bar sensor, you should reset to factory defaults and then autocalibrate everything. Please write down your methods, they will be lost with the reset. Please let me know if this helps.
Do you know the steps to do a factory reset? Tried turning it on and off but I am not sure how to reset it to factory default.

Thanks!

*Figured out how to do the factory default but determined that the cables are bad. Decided to send the auto sampler in to get new arm cables.

Great! Just curious, where are you located?
