Peak area summing

Using Chemstation B, I want to add areas up for certain retention time windows in the chromatogram. I have tried Area Sum but when I do that the integration gets all messed up for portions of the chromatogram. I would prefer to use normal integration parameters. I cannot use Groups because I cannot a priori identify all the components to put them into a group. At this point I am considering an export to Excel and doing the manipulation there but if anyone has suggestions in Chemstation I am all ears.

Would you be able to turn off integration on the portions of the chromatogram that you are not interested in, then just do an area percent report?
