Dr. Yoshio Kato passed away

I was shocked when I got the message last night that my former colleague and very good friend Yoshio Kato, the inventor of TSKgel columns, passed away last week. It is a big loss for the chromatography community. Yoshio was still active in research and development to improve SEC packing materials. I will always remember him.
