Eclipse 4660 Purge and Trap unit not powering on

Hi,
Did anyone ever come across an Eclipse 4660 Purge and Trap unit that wont power on? The issue that started this was that while running samples, the sparge tube could not drain the sample and it backflushed into the smaller chamber of the sparge tube (I assume there was not enough pressure in the system). I measured the flow coming into the sparge tube and it was fine (~40mL/min) but the sample would not purge (there were no bubbles when I manually set the system to purge, but bubbles appeared after I aborted the purge cycle..), even though the pressure was fine. That was a mystery for me, and still is...
But, after I tried to fix that issue and I turned the power off, the unit would not start up. The interface was black and flickering and making popping sounds as if some fuse was blowing somewhere inside. I thought the main board went bad, but when I replaced it with a brand new one, the problem still persisted.
Does anyone have any thoughts on what the issue could be??
Thank you!
