I was thinking of buying the products at chrom&spec (http://www.chromandspec.com/Price.aspx); however, I was wondering if there is a cheaper alternative.

We have an hplc pump and will buy a detector and we think we need an ADC converter. Can anyone recommend a cheap one?
Check out Clarity from your Dataapex local supplier, I would recommend this software and a/d, I have never heard of the one linked.

Cheap, $220 plus delivery on e-bay from Canada

Up for auction is a brand new BaseLine® Chromatography Data System (CDS). This powerful yet affordable workstation meets all your chromatography data handling needs on a stand-alone data acquisition and analysis unit. The workstation is designed to improve daily workflow with easy-to-use graphical interfaces for data gathering, processing, interpretation, and reporting. It enables the user to acquire analog signals from up to two commercially available detectors with standard analogue output.

The package includes the following items:

1. One stand-alone 2-channel data handling unit.

2. One Chromatography Workstation (in English) on CD-ROM.

3. One COM & USB cable.

4. One set of signal cables.

5. Two junction terminals.

6. One copy of User Manual in English.

BaseLine® CDS provides you with the best value data handling solution for upgrading your GC, flash chromatograph, biochromatograph, HPLC, and CE. Though priced at a fraction of an integrator, this PC-based chromatography data system offers the same power and performance as data systems that cost five to ten times more.

l Replace paper records, integrators, and DOS-based systems.

l No programming required – just plug and play
