Does anyone know if there's an HPLC conductivity detector manufactured that can hook up to an Agilent 1100/1200 HPLC system WITHOUT using an A/D converter? Boss doesn't like A/D converter we have, apparently. Thanks.

Does the boss like strip chart recorders, scissors and analytical balances?

What does he like?!?

Boss would like if Agilent made a conductivity detector.

Conductivity detectors we have work fine on A/D with the Chemstation.

Tell him to scrap all the kit and replace with Thermo then he could have a single vendor solution

Can't: most of the Agilent stuff is new, plus we have electronic security software (OpenLab). We've never used Thermo HPLC or software, so I have no opinion on that. But the Agilent systems are very reliable, 30 years experience with them.

  So UK humour kind of missed the target.

Contact Agilent, OpenLab claims compatibility with other vendors kit and Thermo/Agilent agreed to exchange control protocols back in 2006. Get a Dionex detector for your 1100/1200. I'm sure Thermo could control all your Agilent kit so it's got to be worth contacting Agilent ??

Dear KM,
The Cecil CE 4710 conductivity detector has +/- 1V analogue outputs, it may be connected to third party systems, provided the third party systems have +/- 1V A/D converters.

Another miss  He wants digital control no a/d
