Hi everyone,
I need your help as I am facing a problem with autosampler of 1100 agilant. When system is on, It initializes successfully; however, when I start the run, it does not pick the vial although data acquisition is running but no injection. When I click on the injector logo, I find release vial, reset injector and configuration so I released vial (no vial there in the gripper!) then i reset the injector and finally, I find the message in the no ready information says waiting for ready in remote line!
I did forced cold start for autosampler and other modules as well but no luck. I would grateful if you could help me through this.
Thanks so much
Hello

1. Check if you have specified vial location (perhaps is no value and system sees it as blank) in sequence or sample info.
2.Go to tab "instrument"-"more samplers"-check if "external sampler" is marked (if it is - unmarked it)
3.Load default method (DEF.M) and create method from scratch to see if problem is with your method
4.Check if there is any cable connected to sampler (remote cable). If it is - unplugged it

Good luck

Dear All,
Thank you so much for your reply, I did the recommended steps and none of them works so far. I still have same message that says waiting for ready in remote line and still the message of release vial there. Do you think it is a firmware issue?
Thanks
Hello

1.Remove all modules from chemstation except Autosampler
2.Restart Chemstation - you should have only Autosampler
3.Create simple method - 1ul injection, run time 1 min
4.Run single injection from vial position 1

If it works it means that there is some firmware issue or problem with your method

Hi Tomasz,
I followed these steps and the autosampler did not work. I have updated the firmware and disconnect remote cables from all modules and finally, it works!
I ran 3 single injections and they went successfully, I am going to test sequence to make sure everything is perfect.
Tomasz and DR, your help is well appreciated.
