I wonder if somebody is using/happy with metal ferrules, such as Alumaseal, SilTite etc, as reviews are mixed.
Thank you in advance for sharing experience.
We are using agilent flexiferrule (pn: G3188-27501) combined with an "ultimate union" to connect guard column and analytical column and they work perfectly. Once installed they just don't leak. You don't have to tighten them after a few runs,... .
Thanks for sharing. Meanwhile I have used self-tightening Agilent nuts with regular ferrules - seems OK.
I recently switched from Agilent Siltite to Utilmetal ferrules for my MSD quickswap insert. They both work well.
