Hi,

Could anyone tell me how to analysis Reactive black 5 dye (component after cleavage like azo group, aromatic structure) using HPLC DAD Shimadzu and with C18 column?

Thanks.

You have found this site, so you have both a computer and an Internet connection.

As a first step, how about a literature search ?????????

It is very easy to determine Reactive black 5 dye content using HPLC DAD Shimadzu with C18 column. All you need to do it is have:
- a HPLC Shimadzu with DAD detector
- a validated method to determine Reactive black 5 dye content
- appropriate C18 column
- standard of Reactive black 5 dye
- sample you want to analys

First thing you need to do is purge and clean you HPLC. Then put your C18 column in to the HPLC system. Make a standard solution and a sample solution. Run those solution with validated method to determine content of Reactive black 5 dye. Make appropriate calculation. And buum! There you go! Hope I helped. :)
