I am running an HP1090 with chemstation and I cannot get around this. When starting chemstation, it give a message "Pump is not on. Do you wish to start anyways?" If I hit yes, it claims it is in the middle of a run; however it does nothing. If I hit no, I get a not ready message and a yellow "syst" message with no further information. I have tried restarting everything disconnecting the instrument, changing the order of turning on the instrument and starting the software. Nothing works.

Please help! I cannot find anything in the instrument documentation to solve this problem.
