Hello all,

I am trying to pack pulled tip nano columns with Tosoh TSKgel Amide-80 5 um material recovered from a column. In my first attempt I either crushed the particles in packing or online with too high of a pressure. It ended up running like size exclusion with the same profile regardless of gradient.

The most information I can find is the back pressure limits for different sized columns. What equation can I use to calculate the amount of back pressure on my nano column based on the commercial? I figure it has to involve the amount of force applied to the material but I'm unsure of how to compensate for the diameter.

Thanks
Other things being equal, the back pressure will vary inversely with the square of the diameter.
