Hello,
The PC that controlled a HP-5890 series II with a FID and a TCD detector doesn’t work so we buy other with Windows XP. We install the HP-IB card 82341, Agilent libraries version L.02.01.00 and a ChemStation Rev. A 10.02. We configured the interface:
Visa Name: GPIB0
SICL Name: hp82341
Logical unit: 7
Bus Address: 30
With the HP-Configurator editor I’m trying to put the GPIB address but the problem is that I’m not sure what it is… I try with some but I cannot connect the GC with the ChemStation.
Someone could help me? Thank you in advance.
isa39,

How about just setting your GC to 15?

on your card inside the GC.

Agree with AICMM, use GPIB address 15. This is what my 5890/XP setup uses.
Thank you very much. It seems to work well. :)
