I know the Lambda max of the compound of insterest. But we need to report it in our study to meet the specification that the measured lambda max is within +/- 5 nm of the literature value.
The ChemStation has the isoabsorbance plot which allows me to identify the wavelength that gives me the highest absorption. But there's no way of identifying the lambda max automatically.
The tech support suggested me to use a Macro that came in with the CD, which identifies the maximum chromatogram. But this macro only gives me the chromatogram at ~190 nm. That's pretty much where everything absorbs. Neither it gives me a specific number for the wavelength under which this maximum chromatogram was detected.
Does any one know how to include the lambda max in a HPLC chromatogram on ChemStation? I know I most likely would need a Macro but I have never written one. Can anyone give me some help on this?
