Lost calibration EZChrom Elite

Hello,

I am fairly new to the world of chromatography. Started working with Agilent 7820A GC with EzChrom Elite software.
I am trying to optimize method to get chromatogram containing H2, CH4, CO and CO2 peaks. I created calibraion curves for said gases, saved them into method and started some test injections of cellulose pyrolysis.

I had to turn off the GC for few days and imgaine my surprise when I powered it up that all calibration values are gone. Only thing there, are unknown peaks called "Peak @ x.xxx min". I made backup copy of the method files, but when I copied them over, software is still showing no calibration data, is there a way to get it back or should I redo whole thing again (I have data files from calibration injections)?

Hello

First of all 2 facts:

1.Calibration curve is made by you, based on calibration results (your standard/s)
2.Calibration curve is saved as part of the method

So: even if you lost calibration curve you still have raw calibration results (different levels of your standard/s) saved on your PC which means you can make calibration again.

But check carefully because if you saved calibration with method, let say TEST_METHOD.M you have copy of this method in every single datafile (it might be named as ACQ.M)

Thank you for your reply. I did check and measurements are stored in single dat file.
I checked and turns out signals displayed were mixed, when I switched to Back Signal (TCD detector) one calibration curve reappeared, but 4 were lost, I guess I need to calibrate other gases again.
