hi..
currently looking at an Agilent 7694 headspace autosampler that has blown a component on one of the PCB's
its on the power supply PCB located bolted to the back panel of the instrument.
I have details on the electronics, from the service manual, unfortunately the component that is blown is shown on the schematic, but not detailed ( as far as I can see ) on the circuit diagram.
the relevant pages are linked here.

the part is a zener diode, shown in the schematic diagram page 7-7 as DZ2 on board PS86.50 CS2006/A HSS.
what I am trying to figure is the voltage and other details of the zener diode, so we can replace it and try and figure out what if anything else is wrong with the unit.

any help greatly appreciated.
thanks
Did you check the voltage outputs ?
If you still can get the voltages ( +/- 18V , 15V , 24V ) , the zener may be for voltage surge protection purposes , not for voltage regulation.
