quattromicro API

Hi All,

Wondering if anyone has experienced similar problem.
Recently I have been having a problem with the signal stability in Quattro Micro API, I am using an ESI probe and it was working fine. Suddenly while I was trying to run direct infusion, the signal seems redundant and it keeps fluctuating badly.
I have tried to change the source parts but it is not working.

Any idea where the problem might be?

Thanks

Please let us know if you've baseline problem, or this is about your peaks.

The analyte peak appears and disappears when I am operating at low flow rate 10 ul/min, the baseline seems fine however!

Main reason for an unstable signal in infusion is the capilairy. Try to rebuild the probe and check the grafite ferrule. Maybe this one is set to loose or maybe the ferrule is damaged by overtighting. Also deadvolume on this connection might influence the signal.
