Greetings
I am looking for instructions for connecting Agilent 1200 (Chem station B.04.03.54) to Foxy Jr. sample collector, the more detailed the merrier as I am still in the learning phase :-(
Many thanks

Hello

Basic steps below:

1.You need to connect signal/remote cable between Agilent module (best is detector or pump) and fraction collector to trigger (start) fraction collector. You need to check fraction collector manual to configure correct pins for remote/signal.
2.You need to set up the method for fraction collector (either in software or using keypad). It could be tricky as you need to work with detector to set up correct parameters for fraction collector (vial position vs. detected peak)

Good luck :)

Thanks
Keeping the tradition of silly questions - I got the sample collector with a cable that suppose to do exactly this, but to which exit in LC should I connect it? And how do I figure the LC to sent out a signal?

BTW, why pump and not injector?

We have finally connected the Foxy Jr. to the HPLC and it seem to work, never the less we are facing another issue. We need to collect from multiple injections and this seem to work well when we use peak detection. When we use time window method only the first injection is collected, the instrument reach the end of run time, and turn the program off. Can't the repeat function be used with time window mode?
Thanks again
