Hello all,

It was a battle but I finally got the Roadmap to recognize the Chromeleon server. The documentation out there is horrible. I'm having some last problems which I'm hoping someone can solve.

When i try to set up a sequence it won't let me put in values for autosampler position or injection volume. I can't figure out for the life of me if there's someone to configure them. I can't activate panels from within roadmap and just have to start chromeleon xpress but starting the program manually. So if I try to put in the auto sampler position of "RA1" it tells me it's invalid and I should put something like "1", which if I input is refused anyway and I have to close the program!

The key thing is our MS is on a computer with Windows Vista which is not officially supported. I don't know if this is going to be an issue that can't be solved or I'm just missing something. Thermo's tech support was not very helpful.
Hi,

What versions of Xcal and dcms link do you have? I have previously fought ( and won) strange issues between the two softwares!

It sounds like you don't have proper connection between xcal and the server..

If it is possible i don't mind trying a remote session via team viewer to see if I can crack it.

Let me know and i can provide my e mail for you to send the log in info.
Kind regards
