I would like to ask you some questions.
I am checking GC DANI 1000 and having some problems with this GC DANI 1000. Please kindly advise:

1. When booting the GC in the beginning, the system notifies that there is error in auxiliary gas (nitrogen) of FID. And when I change the flow rate of this auxiliary gas, the system doesn't apply.

2. How long for the ECD lifetime? And how to check whether ECD detector working or not ?

Too little info. on the GC. Electronic control of carrier/fuel gases. Sounds like an electrical issue.

ECD The half life of the Ni63 is largely irrelevant. Issues are contamination and electrical; almost always contamination. I can't remember if the 1000 gives and read backs of current flow but the best way to test is to get the GC running and run a test standard.
