I have been trying to resurrect old a few old HPLC pumps I have laying around and turn them into working HPLCs by coupling them to a detector bought off ebay. I have a shimadzu LC-6A pump, but I don't have a complete user manual for it. I googled for it, and I can find this: http://www.geminibv.nl/labware/shimadzu ... al-eng.pdf however to my dismay a couple of pages are missing from this manual.

I'll be very grateful if I can find someone here who has a copy of service/user manual for this model and can send me those missing pages.
Hi.
If you want to try, you may learn a thing or two, and you will get this lesson:
Things are not easy as pushing a button.
I have found a print copy of manual for Shimadzu 8A pump (not 6A): about 70 pages, published in 1989. Post a response if you are interested.

Alfred, Thanks for your reply.Yeah I would highly appreciate if you can send me manual for LC-8A; maybe I can use some details from that into my current pump.

The good thing about equipment from 1980s/1990s is that the manuals from that era contained much more detailed descriptions about the electronics and communication protocols/pinouts etc compared to modern manuals for agilent 1100/1200 which are very descriptive and user friendly, but has serious gaps with describing the actual electronics behind their equipment.
