Simulated Distillation Software

Hello people,
This is my first post! I'm currently using Dragon SimDis by Envantage for high-temp simulated distillation analyses, and its been causing a lot of problems with its glitches and errors. It has resulted in down-time and errors in reported information to clients. I would like to know if there's anyone out there who uses a different software successfully, with no issues.

Thank you in advance :bom:

ochemwiz,

Agilent has SimDis software which I have not tried but might work for you. I suspect it may be re-branded Envantage but I am not sure. Last I chatted, there was a demo CD available.

Separation Systems out of Florida has a SimDis software package that I have used which is very solid. Occasionally the software will shut down but a re-start and re-process usually works right away. The system I have experience with runs on a Chemstation based data system but I believe they support other formats. For routine data crunching it works quite well.

Best regards,

AICMM
