Detector out resistance effect on peak width.

Good Morning,

I was told I could decrease my peak width in a nanoflow instrument by increasing the resistance of flow ( with length of silica line ) of detector out that I can prevent diffusion of my eluted bands. If someone could link me to some literature on the subject it would be most helpful.

Thank you.
Hello

Be careful with installing any restriction in detector outlet - you can damage detector cell if pressure will be to high (check limit for cell).

Regards

Tom
