Local mode running of an HP 1090 Series II?

Hello everyone. I've recently acquired an HP 1090 Series II HPLC (w/ autosampler, DAD) that has been in storage for the last 10+ years and am looking at getting it back up and running.

I'm having to operate it in Local mode (ie from the interface) and I'm having difficulty getting it to simply pump, rather it just prompts me to do an analysis and I can't go further than that.

Does anyone have a working HP 1090 out there that is familiar running it in local mode that I could ask some questions about getting over this hurdle? I'm following the manual to a "T" but obviously something isn't right ....

Thank you.

We are experts in the use, training and servicing for these units. We provide consulting expertise to users of HP 1090 HPLC systems. Sounds like you have a LUSI Series-I or II version of the 1090 with the keyboard option. The Manuals are useless! Perhaps your unit is locked in local mode because it was previously operated under ChemStation software? If so, you need to unlock it, then you will have full keyboard control.
