I have a Agilent System with component G1311A, G1313A, G1315A, can PC is linked to DAD by LAN
The PC is my old PC, and format+upgrade to Windows 7 from XP since completely crush of OS
The hardware config of new system is completely same to old system
The PC is installed absciex analyst 1.62 and linked with ABSCIEX API2000 MS system
I start to install the chemstation B04.03 in new PC
The LC system is using jetdirect card and i have record a MAC address.
When I use a bootp and enter the correct MAC address of LC system
I cannot ping between LC and PC, and I am sure the LAN port on PC is normal.
And I found that the activity indicator on LAN port of jetdirect card is not sparking when I ping.
Also, I found no recieved package in LAN port of PC side.
So, how can I communicate between my PC and LC system.

Sorry for my English as I am not English speaker.....

Hello

1.Run bootP manager and put MAC and assign new IP (eg. 10.10.10.1 with SM 255.255.255.0)
2.Set IP of your PC to 10.10.10.2
3.Make sure that you have correct cross cable between PC and LC
4. Try to ping it.
If you have LAN card with switches on it, set default setting so you will not need BootP to communicate.

Are the ip addresses of the GC and pc compatible? Bootp rarely works with windows 7. I reccomend upgrading to a newer lan card that has a configurable ip via the dipswitches, and ditch bootp all together.
