Hello:

I was analyzing our daily standard in a splitless mode on a 7890A GC and sometime during the run time we got a message of "Insufficient power, system halted"! I turned off the system a few times but he message does not go away. I was told by Agilent to check the voltage at the wall and it reads fine. Then I was told it could be a board issue, but you have to try different boards to figure out if this solves the problem. Any suggestions is greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much for your time.

I finally got the system fixed yesterday.

The problem was the oven heater sensor had gone bad and it had burnt the Analog board. It still does not make sense to me because the AC power board should have burnt out when the oven heater sensor shorted out! I am very happy to get the system back on line.
