Hi all

Here is the announcement from Agilent:

If you want to keep the aged 1100's instruments, you should stock up on the supplies/maintenance items, or request your contractors to stock up on them.
Do that NOW.

Disclaimer: I do not work for Agilent. We use some Agilent products.

Thanks
Alfred
Most of the PM parts are identical to the 1200 and a lot of them are the same for the 1050 (an even older design). I'm not worried about running out of these parts for many many years. The electronic boards inside will eventually die (as the same for every manufacturer). I'm not worried about running out them either as the used Agilent equipment market is immense.

I liked ChemStation it was very easy to get up and running. I did wish they built in more functionality that they left open to user macros. I never cared for ChemStore compliance software addition to ChemStation. I think a lot of people here would agree with me. Perhaps that is why Agilent has updated!

Different beasts.

We had Chemstore, I didn't care for it, but gave us some 21CFR11 protection.
