I just got a new GC toy to play with, a dual column, dual ECD Trace 1300, using Chromeleon 7.2 to acquire and process the data for herbicides, pesticides, etc. So far, I am finding it to be friendly, intuitive, in general quite well done - but one thing has me totally baffled. As a long-time Chemstation guy, I am used to seeing peak area integrations as some pretty darn big values, from several hundred thousand to several million being typical peak areas... CDS 7.2 is giving me peak areas in decimal fractions, with the units being kHz*min. I have looked, but can't find a way to change this, and these peak areas don't really tell me much... anybody have any insight into this?
maybe I just need to mentally shift gears...I'll figure it out.
thanks!
