Accela LC PUmp: not running, lights flashing

Hi All,

time to share one of my problems again.

We have been using a Thermo Accela LC Pump in our lab with great success but a few days ago it suddenly stopped working and gave only a generic error message. Restarting the pump and computer and checking the fuses does not solve the problem.

The Power and Communication LEDs are flashing green at a different rhythm than usual. The LEDs are off for about 1s and then flash for about 0.1s. Sometimes the communication LED flashes orange.

Has anyone seen this problem and maybe even knows what's wrong?

The best advice I can give is the obvious: get hold of your Thermo rep. He/she should be able to.point you in the right direction.

thanks. We did figure out the problem: The active dynamic mixer had produced a short circuit. We replaced that part and the pump is back in action.
