Hi All,

I have two 7890bs setup through a single workstation with agilent open lab CDS. I am trying to copy some methods from GC1 onto GC2 as they are setup with identical hardware & columns etc. What is the best way to do this? I opened a method on GC1 and saved it into the GC2 method folder, but seem to have lost the calibration table. I am not well versed (yet) in the file structure of these methods and any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
I'm not sure that we can do this either. I'm not an administrator on the OpenLab, that's way over my head. We do have the same Method and Sequence Template on a second or even a third sytem, but we installed those the old fashioned way: Edit Entire Method.

Today I had the circumstance of not being able to change ANY of the details under Integration Events; I think it was - really - related that I was like on last day before needing to change password. So I did that, waited my 10 minutes - so the CPU could talk to the server 100 yeards away, then signed in with new password and everything was OK. Pain in the butt !!!
Figured out how to do this using the eMethod option in the methods tab, export the method you want, transfer that .emeth file to the new computer/GC. Then import the file, open the method and resolve it. I think the problem I had previously was on one computer i was not logged in as admin when i tried to export the Method.
