WANT TO SCANNING A CAFFEINE SOLUTION WITH HPLC Agilent 1260 FOR CHECKING THE WAVE LENGTH, CAN YOU HELP ME PLEASE? HOW DO I PROGRAM MY METHOD (PART DETECTOR)
THANKS
Caffeine absorbs in the spectral range between 244 nm to 300 nm
in dichloromethane and water with λ max at 276 nm and 272.8 nm respectively, 250 nm to 300 nm at
λ max of 276 nm in chloroform and 258 nm to 300 nm at λ max of 274.4nm in ethyl acetate.
Hello

DAD: inject caffeine and if you have spectra option installed you can collect full spectrum
VWD: fill cell with caffeine and take sample scan (you can use chemstation or hand controller)

Good luck
