Dead computer with ChemStation software

I purchased a used Agilent HPLC 1100 system about four years ago. The system included a computer pre-loaded with ChemStation. Unfortunately that computer died, and we have not been able to recover any data from the computer. Since the computer was purchased pre-loaded with ChemStation, I do not have a physical license for the software. So, I am trying to determine options for most cost effectively getting my Agilent HPLC 1100 back up and running. My budget is tight, so I'm seeking ideas for cheapest options to get the Agilent 1100 back up and running as quickly and cost effectively as possible. Many thanks in advance for any advice!

What died? Power supply?
We had a similar issue ( had license but needed data, methods etc.). An IT guru was able to get the data off our hard drive. Do you have IT folks?

1. What version Chemstation did you use, or would be acceptable, and with what version of Windows?
2. And are you USA -based?

Agilent tech support can provide you with license and replacement cd (at no charge) if you have proof of purchase.
