Hi,
I wonder if perchloric acid buffer is available on ESI MS spectrometer and if it can be remove in case of preparative chromatography (how ?)
The concentration is 2mL/L of water.
Thanks

For removal of perchloric acid, I would use anion exchange. Perchlorate is strongly retained on most anion exchangers. On a smaller scale, I would use electrodialysis. Another trick would be to add a potassium salt; KClO4 is nearly insoluble in water.
