Hi ,

I need some stainless steel plates for a cleaning method I am going to validate.
Anybody know where I can source these from ?
Usual searches not up to much

dimensions 10x10 cm (2-3 mm thick) up to 25 x 25cm (2-3mm thick)

Thanks

I would try a local welding shop or metal fab. If they can't get it for you direct, they can probably send you in the right direction. Probably even help if you need a certain grade.

See McMaster-Carr http://www.mcmaster.com/#standard-stain ... es/=vh7n4q

Possibly Grainger.

Many different types of stainless steel too.

Hi ydna6969,

If you're in the US, I'd try GlobePharma, in New Brunswick, NJ. That's where a company I worked for purchased theirs:

http://globepharma.com/cleaning.html

Their website is, well, challenging, but their products (at least in terms of their coupons) are rather good.

Best Wishes!

Sorry, but I have to disagree with the answers of my colleagues above.

For cleaning validation you have to get the correct material e.g. steel plates from the manufacturer of the respective reactor vessel.
