Hello,

We are working with some new clients that would like edible products tested for THC content. We have been testing plant materials / extracts using the soxhlet method for extraction, as well as sonicating the sample in a 10%ChCl3 Meoh solution.

The matrix of the edibles we are being asked to test vary from hard candies to to baked goods, and I'm stumped in regards to an appropriate method that will also allow for a relatively high throughput, especially when it comes to the products that are fat and carb heavy. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Hi,

this question is a month old and you probably already found a method. I would try QuEChERS- extraction, which is kind of the standard method for residues in food. I remember that I read articles about QuEChERS and THC somewhere - try Google.
