I need some help creating an Empower custom field for Peak Response Ratios. I have a method that require injecting a W3, which has 2 peaks, 5 times. I need to calculate the peak response ratio for each injection and then find the %RSD of all the Peak Response Ratios. I currently have a Peak Custom Field with the formula "Analyte 1 [Area]/ Analyte 2 [Area]". The name of the analyte are exactly how they are named in the processing method. I use a Component Summary Table for Area and that shows the Areas for each analyte in the injection, but I cannot get the Peak Resonse Ratio to show up. Can somebody please help me?

have you already played with the properties of the comp.summary table in the report publisher? (Double- or right-click on the table)
Then there is some tab withe the table where you can add the needed custom field as column. then you can also set the properties of the columns in the table (e.g. add average and RSD, number formats...)

Yes I can get the column to show up. My problem is that the field is not being calculated. I have a feeling the syntax is incorrect, but I do not know Empower well enough to figure out where I have made my mistake.

I am using a similar function in Empower, the syntax I use is: Analyte1[ammount]/Analyte2[ammount]
So for you I would try:
Analyte1[Area]/Analyte2[Area]
Without any spaces
Good luck!
